Triplicity Publishing is a Lesbian Fiction publisher seeking quality works from serious authors. Every manuscript is reviewed by the editorial staff. We do not review manuscripts that have been simultaneously submitted to multiple publishers; we do not accept manuscripts that have been previously published (including self-published works); and we do not accept partial manuscript submissions. Our average review period is 4-6 weeks.
 
We are currently accepting submissions of the following genres: 
 
ROMANCE – Modern or historical love stories with strong characters, drama, intimacy, and a happy ending.
SCIENCE FICTION / DYSTOPIAN – Science fiction, dystopian worlds, futuristic, time travel, and alternate reality stories.
WESTERNS – Cowboys, ranchers, rodeo riders, gunslingers, wild west, and Native Americans.
MILITARY / SPECIAL AGENT – Political thrillers, espionage, federal agents, military duty
MYSTERY/CRIME – Police, detectives, murder stories, or hard-boiled PI’s.
PARANORMAL / URBAN FANTASY – Werewolves, vampires, zombies, ghosts, fairies, and witches.
HORROR – Anything scary.
ACTION/ADVENTURE -Non-stop action packed, fast paced.
SUSPENSE/THRILLER – Fast paced, thrilling action with hair-raising suspense. Edge of your seat.
HISTORICAL – Romance, drama, intrigue, thrillers, crime, all set in a historic time period.
MEDICAL – Romance, drama, thrillers, intrigue with doctors, nurses, EMTs, firefighters.
 
Triplicity Publishing will not publish depictions of incest, rape, and other extreme material included for the express purpose of titillating or provoking the reader.
 
– You will receive a confirmation email within 4 days of sending your manuscript. If your manuscript fits -within our guidelines and you do not receive a confirmation email within one week, please email us.
– Please allow 4-6 weeks for a decision regarding publishing.
– We do not critique manuscripts. Partial manuscripts will be instantly declined.
– We do not accept simultaneous submissions.
– All manuscripts must be a MINIMUM of 40,000 words, with the exception of Novellas.
– All Fiction Manuscripts must have a lesbian protagonist.
– All Non-Fiction Manuscripts must have lesbian content.
 
GENERAL SUBMISSION INFO:
– Please put the word SUBMISSION / your manuscript’s title in the subject of the email. (SUBMISSION / MY BOOK)
– The body of the email should contain in this exact order: the author’s real name, address, email address, phone number, website, pen name (if applicable), word count,  manuscript working title, category and sub-genre, whether or not you have previous or planned publications along with the titles and publishing companies and dates of publication, a short author bio, and a brief half-page to one page synopsis of the manuscript including the ending.
 
FORMATTING INFO:
– 40,000 word count minimum – Novel
– 20,000 – 40,000 word count – Novella
– Manuscript must be in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format only. All other formats will be declined.
– Times New Roman 12 pt Font with 1 inch margins on all sides.
– No html formatting
– Single space
– Do not use two spaces after a period
– Do not skip lines between paragraphs
– Do not use tabs. Set the first line indentation to .5
– Triple space scene breaks with a * in the middle space.
– Do not use page numbers
– Do not use headers
– Do not use footers
 
Please spell check your submission using American or UK English. (Slang words and other languages are acceptable when appropriate) and edit using the Chicago Manual of Style as your reference.
